The greatly anticipated follow-up to the masterpiece "Goatreich-Fleshcult" leaves a lot to be desired. The only word to describe "Pestapokalypse VI" would be inconsistent. The opening song "Hell's Ambassador" leaves one hell of an impression and gives the feeling that this album will live up to, if not surpass "Goatreich…". Too bad the rest of the album rarely lives up to this expectation. Unlike the previous two albums, there are very few memorable chorus' or guitar riffs. Songs like "Seyn Todt In Schwartz", "Chants For The Devil 1533", "The Ancient Enemy" and "Das Pesthaus/Miasma Epilog" seemed to play through my CD player without much that stood out for me.
