The Departed wins Best Picture! |

"The Departed" took home four Academy Awards last night, including Best Picture & Best Director for Martin Scorsese.
In a post show interview Martin Scorsese thanked the people of Boston and "that great group the Dropkick Murphys".

Dropkick Murphys song "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" from their album "The Warrior's Code" is featured throughout "The Departed". The band says "it has been an incredible experience for us to be involved in such a great film that was set in our home town and was directed by Martin Scorsese, one of our favorite film makers.
