Orange loses guitarist, begins open search for replacement
Sunday, 18 February 2007
Joe Dexter of Hellcat act Orange has announced the departure of founding guitarist Mike Valentine. He explained:
We regret to inform you that after 5 long years of rock'n'roll Mike has decided to leave the band. It's been a hell of a ride tho. Who wouldn't want to play in a band with their best friend forever? Sadly sometimes things just aren't meant to last. Mike is now going to pursue a career in film and cinematography. We wish him the best of luck and we have no hard feelings towards him what so ever. He will be doing the April tour with us and then after that its goodbye and good luck.

The band has announced open recruiting for Mike's replacement, asking for a rhythm guitarist who can sing harmonies, and is asking interested parties to get in touch via their myspace page.

The band released their last album, Welcome to the World Of... in 2005.
