Canadian experimental/noise duo NADJA will see their sophomore album Skin Turns To Glass reissued in North America via Unruly Sounds / The End Records in early 2008.

The band — Aidan Baker (guitars, vocals, woodwinds, drum machines) and Leah Buckareff (bass, vocals) — will enter Baker’s home studio in January to re-record (and re-arrange as needed) their second album, originally released in a limited edition CD-R run on Belgium’s Nothingness Records. The album will also feature a yet-untitled ambient track.

About the re-recording of the album, Baker comments: “The songs are basically all written. We want to just expand the sound, re-do the drums and just give it more body and life.” The band plans to take time off from the road to work on the album, before starting up again in early 2008 to promote the reissue.
