Kamikaze

On friday 29 October Kamikaze will be participating in the Emerganza Band Competition in Amsterdam. We will be on stage around 22.30. Be sure to check us out because we are presenting our new album "12.5" as well. Our new album will be available in a special limited edition package. You can pre order the tickets for only 9 Euro by sending us an e-mail or you can buy tickets at the door for 12 Euro.

From Amsterdam Central Station to St. Christopher’s at the Winston:

it is just a 5-minute walk. Walk out of the main entrance of the station and go straight ahead on the Damrak for about 250m. Take the first street after the water to the left (Oudebrugsteeg) towards Grasshopper. Go straight ahead until Warmoesstraat and turn right. We are at number 129 on your left-hand side.

At this moment Kamikaze is working on a new album called "12.5". The album refers to the 12.5 year anniversary of Kamikaze. Kamikaze has been around since july 1997.

The new album will contain 8 songs: 7 brand new, never recorded / album released songs and a re-recording of "Fight Side by Side". Also the long awaited song "Kamisutra" will be present on the new album. As always, also this album will be 100% DIY. During a holiday in Thailand, Mark and Wouter recorded two songs in Thai studio's. Since music equipment is quite cheap in Thailand they bought a lot of microphones in stead of local gifts. This album is brutal, hard, straight and 100% metalcore!

Since 2009 is the year of change for Kamikaze we could not wait to launch a new Kamikaze website. Despite having a new line-up and new website, Kamikaze will remain the same brutal, grooving, hardcore, ass kicking, metalcore movement from Utrecht. We hope you like the new layout and features. Enjoy!
