CALDERA
Caldera was founded by guitarplayer Björn in January 2002. It started out as a 5-piece hardcore band, but soon a second singer joined them to provide a two-vocal sound. As each bandmember came from another background (deathmetal, hardcore, punkrock,) songs with a mix of different styles were created soon. Bands like Hatebreed, Sepultura, Pantera, Morbid Angel, Madball and Biohazard were definitely very important for the sound of Caldera back then. No-bullshit and straightforward in yer face hardhitting metalcore was what we stood for. Musically as well as lyrically. 2 weeks before the first show, CALDERA was chosen as the band's name.
The 1st of November of that year was an important day for Caldera. Their first gig took place and there was a lot of response. Many thanks go out to the people who were there to support. After playing this gig, 2 more shows were added. From then on they had the opportunity to play a lot of shows in different places around Antwerp. Months went by, and a demo was the next step! In spring 2003, guitarplayer Jevon managed to record a demo cd called: "demons won't run over!" containing 4 tracks plus a live song. The sound of this demo can be described as brutal, raw and static mosh-it-up metalcore. After two years, Caldera have played over 60 gigs. Most of them took place in homecountry Belgium, but they also did some in Holland, Luxembourg and even Spain. These gigs were known because a high level of amusement. Whether they dressed themselves, used (theatre)blood, danced on a commercial technobeat or told jokes all the time in between songs, throwed party-attributes all over the place there was almost always something surprising to show that hardcore should be about fun and not about being tough or cool. Because of these acts, people started to call our style brutal party mosh.
Recently, the bands line-up needed to be changed drastically. They lost their drummer, their bassplayer and one singer. Luckily, it didnt take too much time to find replacers and they also decided to move on with just one singer. After a couple of fine rehearsals they managed to record their 2nd demo: "Iamtrash" at Dé Studio in Asse witch contains 5 mosh-it-up, furious and energetic songs. At this moment, the band is busy writing new material which will definitely be more dynamic. The songs will contain more melodic parts varied with hard-blasting moshparts. By reading the word melodic, dont expect Caldera to become an emo-band! Your pants will be moshed off like never before. There will just be lots more of variation, musically and vocally!

KAMIKAZE
Kamikaze, around since 1997, is known for their brutal, pure and right in your face hardcore with the tightest heavy guitar, bass and drum sections on the scene. With over a 200 live performances in the last few years, Kamikaze has earned a excellent reputation as one of the fiercest live bands around, winning over hardcore and metal fans wherever they plugged in their instruments. Bonded like a hardcore family, Kamikaze's music has an unmistakable positive energy and honesty.
In February 2001, Kamikaze recorded their first album "The Divine Wind" containing 9 tracks of aggressive and raw forms of hardcore, punk, rap and metal. After some changes in the line up, Kamikaze re-recorded their legendary "The Divine Wind" album with all of it's current band members around august 2002.
After this CD Kamikaze recorded "Vile vision of hardcore", containing 21 tracks of pure and aggressive music. From Februari 2004 till July 2004 Kamikaze recorded their 3rd CD called "Pororoca" wich contained 10 tracks of brutal hardcore metal. In february 2006 Kamikaze finished their 4th called: "Masters of the Universe", which contains 6 songs.
The Kamikaze musical style is original, aggressive, fun & positive at the same time. Kamikaze shows are known for their highly animated character and are full of energy. In 2007, Kamikaze sounds better than ever before so be sure to check it out.

SUPERIOR
Superior was founded in the year 1999 and quickly started playing live shows. One can describe their style as a furious mix of hardcore and metal, lots of breaks and moshparts making it all complete, but still keeping a touch of originality/a touch of their own.
During the overwhelming live performances Superior strikes with ferocious energy, making you just want to create chaos in tha pit!
At the end of 2002 Superior decides it's time to record a 6 song demo CD which received plenty of positive feedback in zines all over the world!
This all stimulated the band to record 8 heavy energetic songs on their new album 'You can't deny this', which is brought out on Cursed Records in February 2005. Expect an excellent mix of hardcore and metal.
In 2006 Superior got a great opportunity to put one new song on the new GSR Label sampler, along with 14 GSR bands and 11 new breed bands to represent today's sound of hardcore.
