How can I get my band music on Rhapsody? - 2007/01/30 13:41 Working with just a few bands?
The easiest way for independent bands and artists to get their music into RealNetworks' music services, Rhapsody and the RealPlayer Music Store, is to work with one of the digital music aggregation companies, which include CD Baby (www.cdbaby.net/dd), the Internet Online Distribution Alliance (www.iodalliance.com), Digital Rights Agency (www.digitalrightsagency.com) and The Orchard (www.theorchard.com), among others.

These companies will help bands encode their music in the right format and digitally deliver the information we need to easily add it to our services and make it available to consumers; they will also help you track how songs are selling and get royalties on those sales.

Working for a larger label?
If you are the rights holder for more than 1,000 songs, please contact licensing@real.com. If you have fewer than 1,000 songs in your catalog, please work with one of the content aggregators listed above.
