We are proud to announce we have found a new bassplayer : Steven. He has been a Kamikaze fan from day one and really fits the Kamikaze profile. We are very happy to have this new found power and can't wait to bring our shit out live in the new formation! Steven welcome to the Kamikaze family! |

Today Kamikaze will join the stage together with All Heads Rise in the PlugUnit in Reeuwijk. This will become a day not to forget since this will be the last time we'll have Bob "da chemist" Westerman on the bass. After 8 years of Kamikaze, Bob has made up his mind and has chosen not to continue with his Kamikaze adventure. |

Last week, Bob "BobbyBottom" Westerman, the bassist of Kamikaze, announced that, after 8 years together, he is leaving the band to pursue a his musical ambitions in the trashband Infidel.
"I'm good friends with Kamikaze and will remain so. I love those guys and they love me. They're very disappointed but respect my choice," said Bob, has not yet written an official letter of resignation from the band.
"I will continue to perform all Kamikaze shows booked for 2007 and will always Keep Kamikaze in my heart. I have played with these guys for 8 years which I will never forget. Also, I love my fans and I would like to thank them very much."
Kamikaze’s remaining members respect Bob's wishes and hopes he finds the happiness and musical ambitions he is searching for.
A replacement for Bob is yet to be named by Kamikaze who are currently working on their tour and new studio album. The last Kamikaze show in it's 8 year old formation will be held at the PlugUnit in Reeuwijk at December 15th 2007. |
